Two Ways to Own

1. Direct Purchase

If you have land or a small herd already, you can buy our alpacas outright. We keep pricing transparent: pet males typically start at £700, while breeding females range from £2,750 to £4,000.

2. Remote Ownership Scheme

Want all the perks of alpaca ownership but not ready for daily care? Our Remote Ownership Scheme is perfect for aspiring owners in the London and Essex areas. You’ll truly own your alpacas while we handle feeding, shearing, healthcare, and more.

What’s Included?

• Alpaca Owner Community Days: A ticket for you to visit every other month, so you can bond with your alpaca and connect with fellow owners.
• Comprehensive Care: We take care of feeding, vitamins, vaccinations, shearing, bi-annual worm counts, and any required wormer (if stocked).
• Breeding Made Simple: Choose from our pre-approved studs, paying the stud fee directly. There’s no extra charge from us if you use the same studs we do.
• No Charge for Cria: We don’t charge for baby alpacas during their first six months.
• Full Ownership: You are the legal owner of your alpaca, can sell it on or look after it yourself. 

Our standard fee is £100 per alpaca per month, with a 40% discount during the first year for animals purchased from us. It’s also a fantastic option if you’re looking to gift an alpaca to someone special.

Key Things to Know About Alpaca Ownership

• Herd Size: Alpacas are herd animals; a minimum of three is recommended.
• Male & Female Separation: Keep males and females in separate groups, even if the males are castrated.
• Land Requirements: At least one acre is ideal so you can rotate fields.
• Fencing: Traditional livestock or horse fencing is best; electric fencing is not suitable.
• Shelter: Alpacas need protection from sun, rain, and wind.
• Feeding: Provide fresh water, grass, ad-lib hay, and a supplement feed.
• Co-Habitation: Alpacas can share land with small animals like chickens, goats, or sheep, but you’ll need a careful worming strategy.
• Healthcare: Annual vaccinations, vitamins during darker months, and a worming regimen are essential.
